Felicity is a beautiful, young Calico who was dumped along with her handicapped kitten in a dirty carrier in a Safeway parking lot. A Good Samaritan rescued her and brought her to our adoption site where we promptly entered her and her son into our program. Luckily, our vet examined them and declared both were none the worse for wear. Her son, Tiny Tim, has since been adopted. Now it is momma's turn. She is a placid, quiet, young cat who prefers to be an only cat, yet she can tolerate another non aggressive cat. She is very independent yet responds to affection.

Fluffy is a golden orange and white, long-haired, friendly boy. He is quite possibly a Maine Coon.

He is friendly, fearless and loves attention. He was rescued by a good-hearted woman who got overwhelmed with too many rescues and was in jeopardy of losing her section 8 housing!

Fluffy likes riding in the car and being stroked and loved. He gets accustomed to other cats fairly quickly and seems to get along OK with them.

He is people-oriented and has been around adults and teenagers most of his rescued life. He has been raised indoor-only by his rescuer and seems to be content to share his life with people and stay inside..

My name is Elwood of Jake and Elwood fame. Sadly, we lost my brother Jake to a fatal virus so I am left to carry on. I am an affectionate, loving and active boy who likes to play and roughhouse with active, friendly kitties. But I love "people attention" the best. Zephyr is a spayed, dilute calico cat.

This "Street Madonna" was rescued from deplorable conditions. She was very pregnant and ill.

F.F.F. decided, rather than risk her life to end the pregnancy, to let her have her kittens. We are so glad we did! She is ordinarily a petite, little girl, but nursing and eating the kitten food, has temporarily given her a stomach bulge.

However, once she finally separates from her four rambunctious kittens, she should return to her svelte self. Her martini-olive, green eyes are quite striking! Come see for yourself.

Patrice is another daughter of Zephyr's. She is the spitting image of her mother's coloration and temperament. When she doesn't get her way, she growls and tries to be boss. She is learning to get along with strange kittens at the adoption site as she has only played with her siblings up until now.

I suspect she will be very particular about choosing her special person upon whom she should bestow her favors, loyalty and affection.

Tommy is the "twin" brother of our Jerry. He is the more outward going of the two boys. He loves to get and give attention and gets along well with most other friendly cats.

He is active and playful and would, with the right introductions, make a good active playmate for a similar, non aggressive, friendly cat. He should make a good family member. With the right introduction, he should be able to fit into a family with older children who want a loving buddy.

He loves to rub his head into on your cheek and into the crook of your neck. He gets along well with other cats but would be intimidated by an active dog. Garfield is a loving, active and playful young cat. He is a true survivor.

He was brought to our vet's office by caring but irresponsible owners after he was poisoned and near death from over -the-counter "bargain" flea control products! Since they had no money, their only alternative was euthanization.

When F.F.F. was notified, we immediately took Garfield into our program and authorized our vets to begin emergency procedures to save his life. While it was a worst case scenario, our F.F.F. vets pulled him through!

After several months of recovery and periodic checks of his liver and other functions, he seems to have finally made a full recovery.

He is a friendly and easy going boy and was raised with children.

Maurice is the boldest of the terrific tuxy trio: Maurice, Marcelle and Mischa.

Squeaky Pete is a neutered, black-and-white, tuxedo , male, short hair cat. He is so named because of the squeak he makes in lieu of a meow.

He is at first very shy and reticent but is gaining trust and confidence around people. He responds to affection and is active and a good playmate for other kittens.

He's able to hold his own but is not overly aggressive. He would make a good side-kick to another active and friendly cat or kitten.

Toes is a beautiful, polydactyl, lynx point Siamese mix, senior girl. She is independent, yet curious and loving. She loves to give and get attention. While she has grown up in an all adult environment, she would adapt to any loving family with gentle, loving children. Toes would make an ideal companion for an older person or someone who wants a buddy to share their life with them. She does not particularly need another cat for companionship, but has adapted to a multiple cat, quiet, household with no aggressive or bully cats. While she is a senior cat, she is active and playful. She has been raised around a large friendly dog and small dogs, and had no problem. Katsu is a wonderful, "little clown" of a kitty...full of energy and curiosity. Like the "energizer bunny, he plays and plays and plays. He is a delightful and comical kitten with personality and definite "kittentude"!

He leads the way for the more reticent Nicolaus and is Nicolaus' "role model". Only Katsu can entice the shy Nicolaus to play and wrestle and venture into new adventures. He and Nicolaus should make a wonderful and inspiring addition to any home. Because he is an integral part of Nicolaus' "world" and his physical therapist", we are seeking a home that will keep both of them together and give them each the love and patience that they deserve.

EVERETT is the male equivalent of Norma Rae.

He is every bit as active and adventurous. However, he also prefers riding on your shoulder for your attention. He is a beautiful, sleek boy, probably a Maine Coon mix also.

We would prefer that he and Norma Rae be adopted together, but would consider adoption to a home with another friendly, young active cat.

Also, he would definitely need a human who loves giving and receiving affection regularly.

William is a beautiful, curious and friendly boy. His beautiful patterning on his coat looks similar to a Bengal and /or reticulated tabby. He is shy at first, and tries to "complain" with an initial hiss until he gets to know you ... then he is all over you. In a familiar surrounding with trusted people, he is a lover ... loves to be right in the thick of what you are doing and "sidewalk supervising".

Blanca is an E. S. P. kitty — Extra Special Pet as she has F.I.V. positive with no symptoms what so ever. Simon Little is a beautiful, shy but loving kitten approx. 4 months old. He has come a long way from being a scared, feral kitten trapped in the Petunia's Project. He has responded well to being around people in a home. His sister, Chatter, and he are good buddies, so would like to try to get them adopted together. Vince is the “big brother" to all the siblings. He is the “tall, dark and silent type". It took him a while to warm up to people...watching from the sidelines until he “sizes up" the person. Shy Girl, as per her name, is a beautiful, shy, long haired girl. She also is recovered from the upper respiratory and eye infection/virus due to the anti viral medication. She looks to her brother Vince for assurance and retreats to him when scared. She is getting more comfortable with being approached and allows stroking...especially if you are bearing “gifts" of wet food! With more time, and a good role model of a friendlier cat or one of her friendly siblings, she should make the transition to a loving member of a household.

Gus, aka Conrad is a spunky, funny, little kitte that loves to emulate whoever he is around. He is a friendly and comical little guy. He is still very independent but likes to be stroked and praised. He gets along well with any age cat...liking to wrestle with whoever will play with him. He is curious and active.

Sugar is sweet...and so is our "chocolate girl", Tina"! Like the color of dark belgium chocolate ... yum! Tina is a beautiful, unusual pure chocolate color with a sweet and loving personality to match. She is active and curious like a kitten with a mellow personality that gets along well with other non aggressive cats of all ages. She is great with adults and gentle children, been raised with a house full of small, friendly dogs, other cats and one old, friendly dog ... even rabbits.
